Cold rinse
Always cold water. lukewarm water to lift the stain out.

Gentle wash
Hand wash with mild detergent, or machine wash on delicate inside a wash bag.

Air dry in shade
Hang dry. Skip the dryer, it weakens the absorbent layer.

Don't iron the guesset
Iron the outside if you must. Skip fabric softene or bleach it clogs the fabric.
